"The Shakuhachi 5" is a group of five up-and-coming shakuhachi players who have gathered from across different playing styles. The five members held a concert called "Solo Project" on Friday, July 2nd, 2021, with the theme of introducing everyone to their unique characteristics. At the concert, each of them performed a solo piece, and finally all five performed "Shakuhachi Five" composed by Dai Fujikura, which had its world premiere at the First Concert in December last year.
